Terms of Service

1. What the Service Is

Waitlist Gallery is a browsable gallery and public leaderboard of waitlist pages submitted by users or curated by the Operator. The Service allows:

• Visitors to browse submitted waitlist pages for design inspiration and discovery.
• Registered users (“Submitters”) to submit their own product’s waitlist page for inclusion in the gallery.
• The Service to display, where available, a signup/waitlist count associated with a submitted product, sourced either directly from the submitter or, where technically possible, verified against publicly available data from the submitter’s own waitlist page or connected third-party tool.
• Ranking of submitted products on public leaderboards based on community engagement, likes, and growth over time.
• Submitters to optionally embed a badge on their own website displaying their live rank/count as provided by the Service.

The Service does not collect, store, or manage end-user email addresses or signups on behalf of any submitted product. Any “join waitlist” action a visitor takes occurs entirely on the submitter’s own website, outside of our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or submit content. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and submitting a product.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide materially false information, or are used for abusive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes.

4. Submissions - Your Content and Responsibilities

When you submit a product’s waitlist page (“Submission”), you represent and warrant that:

• You are the owner, founder, authorized representative, or otherwise have the right to submit the product and its associated URL, name, description, and any screenshot or visual material for display on the Service.
• The Submission does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
• Any count, number, or metric you self-report is accurate to the best of your knowledge; you understand that inaccurate self-reported data may result in your Submission being labeled, demoted, or removed (see Section 6).
• The submitted page and product do not violate Section 5 (Acceptable Use) below.

License grant: By submitting content, you grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your Submission (including any screenshot, logo, name, and description) on the Site and in connection with promoting the Service (e.g. social media posts, marketing materials), for as long as the Submission remains listed, and for a reasonable period afterward for archival/record purposes. You may request removal at any time per Section 9.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit, and we reserve the right to remove, any content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activity.
• Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any person or entity.
• Contains malware, phishing links, or is designed to deceive visitors.
• Depicts hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence.
• Misrepresents signup counts, growth, or verification status in a way intended to deceive visitors or manipulate rankings.
• Is spam, or a submission for a product that does not genuinely operate a waitlist (e.g. submitting unrelated content purely for backlink/SEO purposes).

We reserve full discretion to reject, delist, or remove any Submission that we believe, in good faith, violates this Section or otherwise harms the integrity or reputation of the Service, with or without prior notice.

6. Verification, Ranking, and Accuracy Disclaimer

• Where the Service attempts to verify a signup count from a third-party source, this is done on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any count, ranking, growth percentage, or “Verified” status displayed on the Service.
• Rankings and verification statuses may be delayed, temporarily incorrect due to technical failures, or subject to manual review and adjustment (including in cases of suspected manipulation).
• The Service is provided for informational and inspirational purposes. Rankings and counts should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment, business, hiring, or purchasing decision. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

7. Sponsored Placements

Where the Service offers paid, sponsored, or featured placements, these will be clearly and visibly labeled as such and kept structurally separate from organic, verified rankings. Purchasing a sponsored placement does not affect, and cannot be used to influence, a product’s organic verified ranking. Pricing, availability, and terms for sponsored placements are subject to change and will be presented separately at the time of purchase.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

The Site displays screenshots, names, logos, and links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by the Operator. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, or practices of any linked third-party site, including any waitlist signup process a visitor may engage in after clicking through. Your interactions with any third-party site are solely between you and that site.

9. Removal Requests and Intellectual Property

If you are the owner or authorized representative of a product or website displayed on the Service and want it removed - whether you submitted it yourself, it was curated by us, or you simply object to its inclusion - see our Content & Takedown Policy for the process. We aim to honor legitimate removal requests promptly.

10. Intellectual Property of the Service

The Site’s design, branding, code, compiled rankings, and original written content (excluding third-party Submissions and screenshots, which remain the property of their respective owners) are owned by the Operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, or republish the Service’s compiled leaderboard data or design elements for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE OPERATOR’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE OPERATOR IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50 (OR EQUIVALENT IN LOCAL CURRENCY).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Submission, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account/content deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy, Section 7).

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above, and, where practical, through a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. If you are accessing the Service from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws to the extent they apply to your use of the Service.
